Lions International Youth Camp “Franconia”

In 2013 and 2015 and 2017 the lions district 111-BN of Germany organised a Lions International Youth Camp. 

In the year 2019 the 4th Lions International Youth Camp "Franconia" will take place with a one week family stay from Sunday 21th of July till Sunday 28th of July 2019 and and a two weeks camp stay. On a special request an additional family stay after the end of the camp might be possible.  

If you are between 15 and 27 years old and if you are interested to participate in that camp and if you will fulfill the following requirements don't hesitate to apply for the that camp.

All applicants should have an affinity to singing or dancing or playing a musical instrument.  It will be advantageous if applicants will be able to teach the other applicants a modern dance or a traditional dance from their home country. The main camp activities will be singing, musical dancing workshops as well outdoor and sightseeing activities. On Friday 2nd of August 2019, the results of the workshops will be presented to the public in the scope of an international evening. The camp location will be Königsberg (Bavaria), Würzburg and Nuremberg.

Please contact your local Lions Club for the application and the signatures. The application should include all completed and necessary documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 

Completed and signed applications forms must be submitted to the Lions Foundation Germany through the Youth Camp and Exchange Chairperson in charge in the applicant’s district or multidistrict.

Applicants from Undistracted Areas or from countries with no Youth Camp and Exchange Chairperson must apply through their District Governor.

All applicants selected to attend our camp will receive a confirmation letter and information packet from the Youth Camp and Exchange Chairperson.

There is camp fee of 100€. The camp language is English. Travel costs and pocket money are at the expense of the applicants. Insurances will be provided by the German side.
